General Breastfeeding Training Course

Welcome to this Breastfeeding Training Online Course . This comprehensive course is intended to provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge regarding why breastfeeding is important, how breastfeeding works – and how to offer support to make it work well.

It has also been designed to empower and equip you to help those who are dealing with a variety of breastfeeding issues, from the outset of breastfeeding, and throughout the breastfeeding journey.

The course can be completed at your leisure, and is divided into different sections (related to the Baby Friendly Initiative syllabus). Each section has either a video to watch (sometimes more) or some text to read, before answering related questions (click on the Quiz for each section).

It is important to complete each section with 100% before you are able to move on to the next section – this will help you to consolidate learning on each topic.

Once all sections are completed, you will be asked to fill in a feedback form. This helps us to update and shape the course. Once the feedback form is filled in, you can then download your certificate.
